Presenting To The Greek Council At Wilmington College And More

I was asked by a friend from college to present at the Greek Council at Wilmington College on Tuesday, September 15th.  I'm excited because, while I do present to college classes and assemblies at times, it should be a new experience in terms of the atmosphere.

I'm also excited because Wilmington it is almost two hours north into Ohio, so I'm hoping that people who see my presentation will be intrigued and impressed enough to have their high schools have me in to present, which I assume that there will be students from all over Ohio, as well as other states, in attendance.

I'm also excited because a close family friend, Jack Hanser, owns an electronics store, and he gave me a very generous gift of a speaker that can amplify my communication device to crowds.  This is great for me because crowds will be able to hear me a lot better in settings that don't have large sound systems, or even for louder classroom/audience settings that require me to be louder without necessarily needing an entire sound system.  It may not look too powerful because of its size, but it is used in bars, houses, restaurants, and other loud settings and is very loud and audible.

I'm looking forward to continuing to do big things!

I Tested Out My New Hardware Today

Today, I was presenting at a high school in a Pre-Prom assembly, and they had a port where I could connect my new device (the one that amplifies my communication device over an entire sound system).

It worked out unbelievable and even better than when I had used one years back.  Everything that I typed out was coming out loud for everyone to hear and perfectly clear, not muddled at all.

We only had time to answer two questions, but I could already tell that the crowd was getting so much more out of the experience than crowds that I had presented to before I got this device.

If you have a port where you can connect a stereo, a computer, a TV, or anything else to the sound system, then my device will connect, too.

I have a few more presentations lined up before the end of the school year, but please don't hesitate to ask me to present for an event this year or for next year because, with this device, presenting to large groups is just as amazing as presenting to classes or small groups!

BIG Boost For My "Speaking"!

Even though it's been a while since my last post, I am still presenting a solid amount and I'm still just looking for more.

Recently, I discovered a device that will be an ENORMOUS boost in the quality of my events.  While I was presenting at a conference for speech pathologists, they had a device that plugged directly into my communication device and amplified it to the entire crowd.  It worked like a microphone would and it came out clear as day, so I was immediately in love and had to find out more about it.  The ones I had used in the past worked, but only in certain sound systems that were not built into most schools.

The person that was in charge of the sound system was actually a guy a few years younger than me that had seen my presentation at his school years back, so I asked him about the device.  He told me that it works in every sound system and told me that he could get me one, which was amazing because I have wanted something like this since I began presenting to schools over ten years ago.

This is incredible.  Now, when I present to groups and answer questions, my answers will sound as clear as someone talking in a microphone and people will be able to understand me as well as if they were standing next to me.

When I previously have just set a microphone next to the speaker, my communication device makes a weird noise and the words are difficult to understand sometimes.  This will improve the quality in which I answer questions to big groups by so much that it's impossible to put into words.

I may get to use it soon as I was just asked about presenting to a high school down in Louisville, so I'm excited about the possibility of traveling down there and trying out my new hardware.  Hopefully, it all pans out and I get to present down there.

Honestly, I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning.  Presenting and making a difference is what matters most to me, and this takes me to a new level.

Please do not hesitate to ask me to present to your school, college, company, Church, or wherever else.  I am open to everything, including traveling, so let me know about any requests and we'll work something out!

My Life Right Now

It has been a while since my last post and a lot has happened.

I've still been staying very busy with my public speaking, although it has died down with schools being out for summer, but I still present to a driving school every two weeks and I have presented to nursing students over at Children's Hospital once for the summer semester.

I am also volunteering in the Family Resource Center at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, which is allowing me to give back to the hospital where I woke up from a coma and began to rebuild my life from nothing.  I would have liked to have been on patient floors where I could interact with kids because, having been in a similar situation myself, I felt like I could relate, but they already had a bunch of Nursing students volunteering to do things like that.

I am still making a difference, though, and families (and kids) seem to get a lot out of just seeing me trying to live life to the fullest.

I've also decided that I'm going to try to be pro-active in traveling and at least email schools in Southern Kentucky to see if they'd like to have me down to present.  The only problem is, as I've mentioned before, that schools have no money so they're afraid to ask me to come present, which kills me because money's not an issue for me and I'm not looking to break the bank.  I would like to cover expenses if I need to travel, but even that's not important.

I'm also writing a book called A Life Lost, A Life Found, but I've been stuck at the point of the wreck for a week because how do I describe waking up in the hospital and having no clue where I am or what happened to me?

Things are going well and hopefully good things will continue to happen!

New Opportunities

The first half of the year has gone fairly well and I seem to be making more of a difference than ever, but I would absolutely love for my calendar to be packed and to be able to present as much as possible just so that I can make a difference while I'm still young.

Yesterday, I presented to Saint Ursula Academy and they sent Thank You notes today, which were awesome to read and the notes might have been more impactful than any I've ever received because all the girls just spoke from their hearts and you could tell that my story had a big, meaningful impact on them.  It's amazing to know that I can still have that big of an effect on high school kids and I hope that I can keep it up for years to come because I plan on doing this for as long as I can make a difference.  What I also loved was the fact that I impacted most of them in more than one way, whether it be making good decisions, having faith, facing life's struggles, or anything else.

Last week, I was asked to present to a high school that's three and a half hours south into Kentucky, so we're still trying to get all of that set-up and organized, which would be huge because then my name could spread to other schools down in that area and then hopefully around even more.  Like I said, hopefully that can kick-start my career in terms of traveling and get me to places that are farther away so I can continue to make a difference, but I'll still always present to the local schools that I do regularly.

Wish me luck and don't hesitate to ask about having me out to present to your school or anywhere!

End of Winter and Spring

Bengals made the playoffs because they're the most incredible franchise in the history of professional sports, which means Carson Palmer has to be on suicide watch somewhere.........  haha.

I'm presenting to a driving school in Cincinnati twice a month and I have a few presentations set-up for the next few months, but not nearly as many as I'd like, and I think it's because schools are so broke that they're afraid to ask people to come in, but I could care less about the money because I do it to make a difference and to have a positive impact on kids.  I'm presenting a few times every few months to nursing students at Children's Hospital and University Hospital, which is awesome to me because it's going back to where it all started for me after the wreck and I feel like I can maybe help nurses better understand what a patient might be going through (not that I know what anyone else is thinking, feeling, or going through, but I know how it was for me in that situation).

Other than that, I'm just lifting three times a week just to try and get better physically, plus I'm a huge beefcake ;-)

I'm still very open to presenting to high schools, colleges, youth groups, churches, or wherever, and I'd love to travel, so don't hesitate to ask.

Starting Almost Completely Over

Back in April, as I was getting ready to make my usual emails to my contacts at schools and colleges, my email account was hacked and Yahoo! decided to delete it, which erased all of the records of my life of the past 11 years, along with all of my photos, my contacts, and the personal calendar that I kept on Yahoo!.

With that happening, I still have had a fair amount of public "speaking" gigs, but not nearly as many as I'd like.  I'm going to start emailing schools in Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati to try and get back into the swing of things and to gain some interest.

My new email is BJFritz21@yahoo.com if anyone is looking to contact me, and I'm still very interested and very involved in presenting because it helps to give my life meaning.
